Our optometrists examine eyes to diagnose and treat vision problems, usually by prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses, vision therapy, and/or rehabilitation programs. They also prescribe medicines to treat some eye diseases and allergies. Optometry services are billed directly by the optometrists to the Health Canada Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program

Services Provided:

• General and specific vision testing;
• Diagnosis and treatment of vision problems, and/or eye diseases;
• Prescriptions for eyeglasses, contact lenses and/or other visual aids;
• Referrals to ophthalmologists, as required.
